JD Vance & Fellow Racists Claim Haitian Migrants Are Stealing Your Pets to Eat Them

JD Vance and other prominent conservatives are claiming—without evidence—that Haitian migrants in Ohio are abducting peoples’ pets and eating them. Their “evidence” is one story about a citizen eating a cat as well as a Facebook post that makes numerous hearsay-based claims. Local authorities have had no reports of such claims.
