Pod Save America Gets MASSIVE Blowback for Patronizing Take on Luigi Mangione

The hosts of ‘Pod Save America’ received substantial backlash in response to “tone deaf” comments they made about Luigi Mangione and the murder of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO, Brian Thompson. They called celebratory reactions “performative” and patronizingly argued that Mangione’s actions wouldn’t get us closer to Medicare For All. They also go on to argue against Medicare For All with disingenuous arguments intended to keep the for-profit status quo in place. In this video we look at the blowback they received from their audience and dissect some of the insidious arguments they make.
