Unfortunately for Trump, the Epstein story isn’t going away anytime soon. House Republicans, however, have a plan to make it go away for them, at least. Politico is reporting that a dozen House Republicans are pressuring leadership to cancel next week’s session so they can take their summer recess early. Next week is when Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie’s discharge petition could force a floor vote on the release of the Epstein files, and congressional Republicans think that if they hold off on voting on it their constituents will forget about the Epstein files by the time their recess ends in September. Why are they SO against voting to release the Epstein files? We speculate about it in this video.
