Madeline Soto Case: Killer's Jail Recordings Expose Dark Obsession

This is Part 1 of a 3-part series of newly-released and redacted jailhouse phone calls between Stephan Sterns, the accused killed of 13-year-old Madeline Soto, and his parents. Sterns is in jail awaiting trial for allegedly sexually abusing and killing Madeline.

The body of Madeline -- who had just had her 13th birthday -- was found March 1, 2024 dumped off the roadside in Kissimmee, Florida, about 30 minutes from her home. Sterns was the boyfriend of Madeline's mother, Jenn Soto.

The jailhouse calls were recorded in June 2024 and released by the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office in Orlando, FL.
