The Nancy Guthrie Case Just Got Darker: Ransom Note & Crime Scene Details

Updates later today confirm that the Pima County Sheriff's Office received a possible random note demanding millions in bitcoin. Also blood drops seen on Nancy Guthrie's front door steps are telling as well.

Authorities said today (Feb. 3) that they are analyzing cell phone data, going over cell tower information and interviewing people. They're asking for the public's help. If you live in the Tucson area and saw anything suspicious Jan 31 or Feb 1, call 1-800-Call-FBI. They restated that they believe she was taken from her home against her will.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen Saturday Jan. 31st at 9:45pm at her home. At 11am Sunday she did not show up at church. Her family went to her home and found that she was missing. Police have processed the crime scene inside her house, and they have submitted DNA samples for testing, but nothing to indicate a suspect, Pima County Sheriff Nanos said. They continue to work on "all kinds of leads."
