Brian from Illinois calls to declare the Humanist Manifesto "terribly stupid," but the conversation quickly becomes contentious when Brian can't clearly articulate his objections. After rambling about logic and mathematical equations for relationships, Brian eventually argues that the Manifesto's focus on happiness is meaningless since happiness varies between individuals. Matt grows increasingly frustrated with what he sees as Brian's superficial understanding and inability to engage meaningfully. After ending the call, Matt reads from Humanist Manifesto II to demonstrate it's a thoughtful document addressing serious issues like human rights and totalitarianism, not the "word salad" Brian claimed. Dara suggests Brian was attempting a meta-ethical critique but lacked the philosophical framework to express it effectively.
