Manuel from California calls in claiming "Professor Hume says the best evidence for God is the beginning of the universe." Matt immediately challenges this by pointing out we cannot investigate beyond the Planck time. The conversation spirals as Manuel commits multiple logical fallacies: arguing that because science can't currently explain something, it never will; that supernatural explanations are therefore justified; and finally claiming he "knows" the cause is a thinking agent with will. Matt's frustration builds as he repeatedly asks how Manuel can demonstrate the cause has will, leading to increasingly circular arguments and an abrupt call termination.
