Steve from Australia argues that when examining competing hypotheses for existence, the "God hypothesis" (something resembling intelligence that designed the universe) shouldn't be dismissed so easily. He believes that since intelligence exists in our reality, it's reasonable to consider it could exist elsewhere to explain fine-tuning. The hosts Forrest and Durante push back hard, pointing out Steve has zero evidence for anything existing "outside reality" and that his position is unfalsifiable. The conversation gets heated when Steve tries to argue that simple "neurons" could exist at the Big Bang, leading to cringeworthy exchanges about transistors and lightning in clouds. Ends with Steve wanting to agree to disagree after 30 minutes of circular reasoning.
