Roy calls in believing God exists but doesn't care about humanity, comparing humans to ants that can't comprehend the giant standing above them. Hosts John and Archer immediately shut down this tangent, demanding Roy explain WHY he believes God exists in the first place. What follows is a masterclass in evasion as Roy spirals through pseudoscientific speculation about Higgs particles, panpsychism, and time not existing, never actually answering the question. When finally cornered, Roy admits "it just makes sense to me" and that belief gives him hope. John destroys this with the "farting pixies" analogy while dismantling Roy's false dichotomy about purpose. Roy attempts to redefine God as "everything is everything," leading Archer to quip this conversation might work at an EDM festival on LSD but not here. The hosts explain burden of proof and why they're atheists before John mutes Roy and ends the increasingly frustrating call. A perfect example of someone who confuses philosophical word salad with actual argumentation.
