Caller Stevie phones in to discuss hell and biblical evidence with SkepTalk hosts Paul and John. The conversation quickly deteriorates when Stevie claims the Bible has been consistently proven true by archaeology and that "there is no archeological discovery that contradicts anything in the Bible." John challenges this with the story of Jericho, explaining that archaeological evidence shows the walls collapsed hundreds of years before the Israelites arrived and the city was already deserted—contradicting the biblical conquest narrative. Stevie repeatedly dismisses this as merely a "dating dispute," frustrating John who explains the fundamental problem isn't about timing but whether the event happened as described at all. The exchange becomes increasingly heated with both parties talking over each other until John loses patience and tells Stevie to "shut the fuck up for one second." Stevie objects to the disrespect and hangs up. Paul reflects afterward that even if historical events in the Bible happened exactly as described, it wouldn't validate the supernatural claims—true facts don't automatically make the next claim true.
