Jeremy from North Carolina called into After Dark claiming to be a Christian philosopher and a theist — someone deeply concerned with whether religion is true, not just useful. The hosts were intrigued. Unfortunately, rather than making his case for God, Jeremy spent the entire call commenting on the previous caller's arguments, objecting to adjectives, and telling the hosts how their own show works. When Paul and Austin finally got him to confirm he believes God exists and asked him why, Jeremy found time to dispute the word "extravagant" but not to produce a single reason. He saved his five reasons for the exact moment Paul was hanging up on him.
