YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOriginal Episode Here:
Dylan from Minnesota calls in to SkepTalk convinced that humans are not animals — a claim that kicks off one of the most chaotic taxonomy debates in call-in show history. Hosts Justin and John spend the first half of the call just trying to get Dylan to define his terms, reading him dictionary definitions and explaining the biological kingdom Animalia while Dylan insists that having pets proves he's not one. When Dylan finally reveals his actual theological argument — that humans are made in God's image — Justin immediately hits him with 1 Corinthians 11, a verse Dylan accidentally agrees undermines his own point. John then runs a quiz he calls "Omni Benevolent," asking Dylan to identify whether violent acts from the Bible were committed by God or Satan. Dylan gets almost every answer wrong. Rather than engage with any of this, Dylan's closing argument is to claim he IS Satan and demand the hosts sell him their souls — a gambit that goes about as well as you'd expect.
