A caller who opens by admitting he's calling "from a vegan place" tries to get hosts Taylor and Alyssa to defend eating any animal products at all — using increasingly extreme hypotheticals about rape, cannibalism, and the Holocaust to make his point. Both hosts are sympathetic (one is a recovering vegan with real eating-disorder history), which makes the conversation less a debate and more a slow unraveling of the caller's all-or-nothing moral logic. It ends with a genuinely stunning closing comparison involving Black people and species classification that leaves the hosts audibly floored the second the call disconnects. A wild ride from "let's talk ethics" to "did he really just say that."
