Many different case studies have shown that eye witness testimonies are not always 100% reliable. Many variables contribute to this, including changing memories, levels of attention of the witness during the event, and misleading questions asked by prosecutors. Should the American justice system still use this incredibly unreliable system? Or should we just scrutinize eye witness testimonies more than we do now? What are some solutions to this problem?
