"Kim Davis has lots of support amongst the Republican presidential ranks for her steadfast refusal to issue gay marriage licenses, but there have been quite a few Fox Newsers who have been rather critical of what she’s doing. And tonight, Andrea Tantaros made it clear to Bill O’Reilly that she has a problem with Davis’ stance too.
O’Reilly said there’s nothing wrong with her wanting to be a conscientious objector or a “martyr” for Christianity, but she has to be able to face the consequences.
Tantaros kept insisting that Davis “doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on,” and warned O’Reilly that it sets a “dangerous precedent.”
“A woman with Sharia not issuing driver’s licenses to women ’cause she doesn’t believe they can drive,” she argued, “or, say, somebody who says ‘I don’t believe in the Second Amendment, so I’m not gonna give a gun permit.'”
