Could Sarah Palin be the next Judge Judy?
The former GOP vice presidential candidate is poised to pick up the gavel as the star of a new courtroom reality TV show.
If picked up, the syndicated daytime series would premiere next year, according to People magazine, which first reported the deal.
The team behind the show, which has yet to be filmed, reportedly includes a TV exec “who found” Judith Sheindlin — known as “Judge Judy” — and Judge Joe Brown.
Palin, who does not have a law degree, has been on the campaign trail supporting Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
The former Alaska governor, 52, canceled an appearance at a campaign stop for Trump last week after her husband, Todd Palin, was injured in a snowmobile accident.
A source tells People that Palin was approached for the TV gig by a production company because her “telegenic personality, wide appeal and common sense wisdom make her a natural for this kind of format.”
