"Former presidential candidate and ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush mocked Donald Trump for being "low energy" last month — turning the presumptive GOP presidential nominee's oft-repeated insult back against him.
“He seems low energy with the teleprompter,” Bush said over breakfast with a handful of leading Republicans, according to The New York Times.
Bush was reusing the same attack line Trump often used against him during the primary contests.
The presumptive GOP presidential nominee framed Bush as a low-energy candidate, a label that stuck with Bush through the primary season.
Bush has said previously he does not plan to support either major party's presumptive nominee, and he chose not to attend the Republican National Convention taking place in Cleveland this week."
