"In a 5-page letter to House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Scott said he would like the federal government to reimburse the state 90 cents on the dollar for Florida’s “most vulnerable populations.” Under traditional Medicaid Florida receives about 61 cents. The 90-cent match is a feature of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Scott said the increased match could encourage states to develop home and community based programs to care for the most vulnerable."
