"Donald Trump is feeling good so far about his performance as President of the United States. That was the message he gave in a feisty new interview to Time Magazine’s Washington Bureau Chief, Michael Scherer.
In the famous publication’s most recent cover story, Trump refused to walk back any of his past statements. “I’m a very instinctual person, but my instinct turns out to be right,” he told Scherer, adding that he was unbothered by FBI director James Comey’s recent testimony to the House Intelligence Committee dismissing his claims of wiretapping. “I have articles saying it happened,” Trump retorted.
Toward the end of Scherer’s roughly 20 minute phone call, Trump sassed the implications of his questions noting, “I can’t be doing so badly, because I’m President and you’re not.”"
