"Former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) says he used to be friendly with Fox News host Sean Hannity and conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, but the two went over "to the dark side."
During an interview with Politico published Monday, John Boehner said he "always liked" Limbaugh.
"When I went to Palm Beach I would always meet with Rush and we’d go play golf. But you know, who was that right-wing guy, [Mark] Levin?" he said, referring to another conservative radio host.
"He went really crazy, right, and got a big audience, and he dragged [Sean] Hannity to the dark side. He dragged Rush to the dark side."
Boehner said he used to talk to the two "all the time."
