as posted by the channelOn Tuesday, Republican Nick Wilson filed House Bill 269 which would have changed how state law defines incest. The major change in the initial filing was that would have taken ‘first cousin’ relationships out of the law.
He has since said removing ‘first cousin’ was an inadvertent change during the bill drafting process.
