as posted by the channelOn Tuesday, the The Liquor Control Board of Ontario said that in response to Trump's tariffs, it is pulling American-made spirits off the shelves.
“As part of Ontario’s response strategy to U.S. tariffs, the government of Ontario has directed LCBO to take operational steps to implement restrictions on all U.S. beverage alcohol sales and related imports into Ontario, effective immediately,” the liquor board said in a statement Tuesday.
Jack Daniel's maker Brown-Forman, headed up by Lawson Whiting said the Canadian response was "disproportionate”
"I mean, that's worse than a tariff, because it's literally taking your sales away, completely removing our products from the shelves," Mr Whiting said.
