Montana Trump Voter: 'I didn't Vote For THIS'

A hardcore conservative hunter in rural Montana — pro-gun, anti-abortion, lifelong Republican — is furious with Donald Trump’s so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE). And he’s not mad over tweets or “mean words.” He’s mad because DOGE just gutted the public lands agencies his entire way of life depends on.

In this video, we look at how massive DOGE cuts to federal public lands staff are hammering Trump’s own base: ranchers, hunters, outfitters, firefighters, trail crews, and timber workers in deep-red Montana. Thousands of public lands workers have already been pushed out, with even more cuts on the way — and that means fewer firefighters, fewer wildlife biologists, fewer people managing forests, trails, grazing, and hunting access on 640 million acres of federal land.

This isn’t theory or “D.C. drama.” This is what happens when the right’s war on “big government” collides with reality in rural America. When you fire the people who protect forests and manage wildlife, you’re not draining the swamp — you’re lighting it on fire.
