7:35Now PlayingSamantha Stinson, a Jewish mother from Fayetteville, Arkansas, had to sue her own state to protect her children from forced Christian indoctrination in public schools. Federal Judge Timothy Brooks just ruled Arkansas lawmakers "said the quiet part out loud" about their theocratic agenda.
Arkansas lawmakers thought they could force the Ten Commandments into every public school classroom and hide behind claims of "historical significance." Instead, they confessed their real intentions during legislative hearings, admitting the law was designed to remind kids "there is a God" and serve as a "counterattack to total secularization."
