Farmers voted for Trump, then watched his "targeted" deportations gut the very family farms that form the backbone of the Pacific Northwest economy.
The extraction in here is a textbook "Buyer’s Remorse" story. Farmers who backed the administration specifically because they believed the promise that only "the bad guys" would be targeted are now watching their most experienced tractor drivers and equipment operators being detained. Randy Kraght told reporters he was "knocked on his butt" and "really disappointed" to find that the workers he describes as "good, hardworking, innocent people" were the actual targets of the machine he helped build.
