Instead, masked Border Patrol agents raided a Home Depot 500 miles from the border — macing a U.S. citizen face-down on the pavement while a federal court later ruled the entire operation violated a standing court order.
Jose Castillo, the citizen arrested during the raid, pled guilty to a vandalism charge and got probation plus roughly $980 in fines and restitution. Now Martinez and a growing number of Latino Trump voters say they regret their vote. LULAC's latest survey shows Trump's Latino support has dropped from 48% to 37%.
