This video is about the half of the story I left out: $15.2 million from two PACs tied to the same foreign policy lobbying network. United Democracy Project (AIPAC's super PAC) spent $4 million against Massie. MAGA Kentucky PAC, backed by hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer, spent $11.2 million. Together, that's nearly half of every dollar in the race.
Massie ran on America First. No foreign entanglements. Independent of donors. He got taken out by donors who weren't American constituents at all. This is how the shell PAC mechanism actually works — and how it just took out the most independent backbencher in the Republican Party.
