Many of you may have heard of the conspiracy of the missing scientists in the last few months. By April 7th, 2026, the story was hitting tabloid headlines. By April 16th, it had gained the attention of several members of Congress; and on April 20th, the President directed the FBI to begin “an effort to hunt for any possible connections between the seemingly unrelated deaths or disappearances of at least ten scientists and government workers over the past few years.” If the FBI has uncovered anything, they’ve been quiet about it. As for the media, there’s been division (to say the least) with some writers like Michael Shermer of Skeptic dismissing the story out of hand as nothing but a statistically normal string of unconnected cases, while other, more conspiracy-friendly groups like The Sentinel Network probe for an angle that proves something more nefarious is going on. The truth, as always, is probably somewhere in the middle, and that’s what we intend to uncover. Welcome back to The Lore Lodge…
