New questions about the return of 89 year old Dianne Feinstein, California’s senior senator who has been absent from Washington for months due to shingles.
“I haven’t been gone. I’ve been working,” Feinstein told two reporters, according to a Slate article published Tuesday. She was asked if she meant she had been working remotely, to which Feinstein responded: “No, I’ve been here. I’ve been voting. Please. You either know or don’t know.”
On the Surpeme Court...
The call to expand the Supreme Court has been gaining momentum in recent months, as Democrats have become increasingly frustrated with the court's rulings. In addition to California, lawmakers in New York and Illinois have also called for expanding the court. It remains to be seen whether Congress will take action to expand the court, but the call is likely to continue to gain support in the wake of the Supreme Court's recent decisions.
