She is the president of EMILY’s List, an organization focused on electing Democratic women who support abortion rights. While the Governor said he’d appoint a caretaker who would not run for the seat, Butler’s appointment is said to come with no such strings attached.
Last night, US Attorney General Merrick Garland appeared on CBS’ 60 minutes. When asked about the reasons he chose the law and why Democracy is important to him, Garland got choked up. Some will see it as passion and others as weakness. How do you see it?
