As if she doesn’t have a stable of nannies, a gazillion dollars with which to hire a sitter or any means to procure child care, Ivanka Trump once again tried to get out of testifying in the NY Civil Fraud trial against members of her family and the family business. This time she argued that having kids who go to school make weekdays an undue burden for her. Her request was denied.
Former President Trump is still trying to get the gag order imposed by the judge in his federal election subversion case in DC lifted. He wants it removed for 7 days while he appeals to the US Supreme Court.
Sam Bankman-Fried looked devastated yesterday when he was found guilty of seven counts of fraud in connection with his cryptocurrency exchange FTX. The jurors needed only about 4 hours or so to find the crypto billionaire guilty of fraud and conspiracy. The sentencing hearing is set for March.
