2:06:27Now PlayingAs Trump releases footage taken at Arlington National Cemetery in a campaign ad, some families are crying foul. On CNN, Maggie Haberman reported that she spoke to one family upset that their son, who committed suicide after serving several tours in the Middle East, had the front and back of his gravestone visible in the Trump ad. There is a federal law prohibiting filming in this section of Arlington and so far, there is no evidence that Trump received clearance from military officials allowing him to violate the privacy of the families of America’s war dead.
We’ll find out more about the violation of the law when we welcome former federal prosecutor and now defense attorney David Katz to the show.
The economy is weighing heavily in this presidential election. From prices at the grocery store to disputed jobless numbers, it’s an issue voters have listed as a priority. Heather Long is a former economics reporter at CNN and the Washington Post, and now works for the latter as an opinion columnist. We get her take on the pulse of the U.S. economy. Are voters getting the real story?
