YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTrump’s sketchy new $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization” fund will operate through the end of 2028. It will be overseen by a five-member commission to be appointed by the acting attorney general. Fearing convicted and pardoned January 6th insurgents will be eligible for payouts, two Capitol police officers are filing suit to put a stop to it. The DOJ says the commission will decide an applicant’s eligibility and payouts under a broadly worded “totality of the circumstances” standard.
We welcome former federal prosecutor, and now defense attorney, David Katz to discuss the legality of what critics are calling Trump’s Slush Fund, the attached ban on tax audits for Trump and his family, and whether this so-called settlement will stand up if scrutinized in a court of law.
Mark has a conversation with journalist and political strategist Christopher Armitage.
