1:55:15Now PlayingA big staffing change in the Trump administration. Karoline Leavitt, the youngest White House press secretary in history, is stepping down at the end of the month. She’s 28 and just had her second baby. She says she’s resigning to focus on her family. Trump says Leavitt will remain an influential voice and outside adviser for the GOP moving forward. We will look at the circumstances surrounding her resignation.
Big legal cases top the news, from another request by the Trump administration to the Supreme Court regarding mail in ballots to new information about how Supreme Court justices make money despite potential conflicts of interest. Former federal prosecutor and now defense attorney, David Katz will join us.
She once worked for Trump, but Jessica Denson saw the light pretty quickly. Now, Denson hosts the ‘Lights On’ podcast and regularly organizes protests in support of the Constitution and democracy. She’s been an integral part of the protest launched by Air Force Major Jason Watson who was arrested for a one person protest on the Capitol steps in scorching DC weather.
