YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWhen you step inside a hospital, how do you feel? Did you ever notice the sounds we hear inside hospitals?
Yoko K. Sen is an electronica musician and she is redesigning the sound environments in hospitals. After a medical emergency that kept her bedside for a few days, Yoko realized something getting under her skin -- the three medical machines kept beeping and were making a musical chord called tritone, a dissonant harmony that was banned in medieval times and described as "devil's music."
Watch Yoko's incredible journey and hear her story with collaborators from some of the major medical professionals in the industry who want to reimagine the sounds we hear in hospitals.
