SCOTUS hearing case that could reverse Jan. 6 obstruction charges; already impacting some defendants

Though the Court just started hearing arguments and a decision is not expected for months, the case is already having an impact on some of the defendants.

Over the last several weeks, federal judges in Washington have agreed to release around ten defendants who were serving prison sentences because of the obstruction law, including Kevin Seefried, Alexander Sheppard and Thomas B. Adams.
