"How many more bodies have to pile up before we wake up and we understand that border security is synonymous with national security," said Mark Morgan,former acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation.

"We've ... encountered hundreds of thousands of what we call 'special interest aliens' that we know come from countries that sponsor, harbor and facilitate terrorism; yet we're releasing them every day without properly vetting them. ...
