Final testimony: Florida woman zipped boyfriend in suitcase, left for dead

Sarah Boone, a Florida woman, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres, Jr. Torres was found dead inside a suitcase in the couple's Winter Park apartment in February 2020. Boone claimed the two were playing a drunken game of hide-and-seek, but prosecutors argued that the video evidence and her own statements to police contradicted her claim of self-defense. Torres' sister Victoria called for Boone to "rot in jail" and expressed the triggering effect of using a suitcase.
