Trump's 25% tariff on foreign steel, aluminum may hike consumer costs, expert warns

President Donald Trump has called for additional 25% tariffs on all foreign steel and aluminum entering the United States, marking a significant escalation of trade measures from his first term.

Unlike steel and aluminum tariffs from his previous administration, Trump is not expected to exempt Canada and Mexico from this round of tariffs.
