Border czar: 'Zero tolerance' for violence, destroyed property in Los Angeles protests

The National Guard has been deployed to the streets of Los Angeles following directives for 30 days of ICE enforcement actions in California, sparking intense protests.

Demonstrators clashed with police and federal agents, with scenes of chaos as city buses and police cars surrounded a vehicle set ablaze. A Customs and Border Protection car was pelted with rocks.
