Judge to hear California's case against Trump using troops at anti-ICE riots

A federal judge will hold a hearing on Thursday over California's request to block the Trump administration from using the National Guard and Marines to help put an end to protests that were sparked by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta filed an emergency motion on Tuesday but were denied and scheduled to discuss the requested order in federal court in San Francisco.
