CEO of Marlin Steel optimistic about tariff impact on American jobs and economy

Many U.S. manufacturers believe the threat of reciprocal tariffs is the only way to level the playing field of global trade and compete in foreign markets.

As President Donald Trump looks to boost production of aluminum and steel in America, he announced he would double the tariffs on those products imported to the U.S.

Drew Greenblatt, who is the CEO of Marlin Steel, said he and his company are “very upbeat” amid all the tariff talks.

"This is a fair solution to something that’s been an inequity to our factory workers for decades,” he told The National News Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat Wednesday.
