HHS plans to review and revise 1986 Vaccine Injury Compensation Program

The Department of Health and Human Services under the leadership of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. looks to "fix" the U.S.'s Vaccine Injury Compensation Program that was established in 1986 under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. The act sought to create methods besides lawsuits that patients could seek in the rare case of injuries and complications as a result of being immunized with a vaccine.
