United Airlines resumes flights after nationwide ground stop over technology issue

United Airlines said they are working with customers to resume operations after flights were grounded nationwide on Wednesday night.

Flights were originally grounded due to a technical issue, which is now resolved, United Airlines told ABC7 News.

"We are working with customer to get them to their destinations after a technology disruption on Wednesday evening," said United Airlines in a written statement. "The underlying technology issue has been resolved, and, while we expect residual delays, our team is working to restore our normal operations."
