Sanctuary cities refuse to back down against the Trump administration

Bondi emphasized the federal government's stance, with the letters saying the sanctuary jurisdiction's non-compliance "ends now."

"If they don’t comply, we’re going to sue them. We’re going to take away your federal funding, you’re going to have to comply, we’re going to send in law enforcement, if you’re not going to do your job, we’re going to do it for you."
