Trump touts new EU trade deal as a win: But who bears brunt of tariffs?

The United States and the European Union announced on Thursday in a joint statement that they have agreed on framework for details of a trade deal they verbally struck last month.

Previously announced 15% tariffs on European goods will now be a blanket cap, sparing sectors like pharmaceuticals and semiconductors from Trump's threats of triple-digit tariffs.
