Chicago mayor calls Trump's plan 'illegal, unconstitutional' amid crime crackdown fight

President Donald Trump repeatedly criticized Illinois lawmakers on Monday morning and called Chicago a "killing field" as he threatened to send the National Guard to tackle crime.

"I think Chicago will be our next," Trump told reporters, later adding, "And then we’ll help with New York."
