DC universities face criticism for 'progressive policing' amid crime crackdown

As the Trump administration cracks down on crime in Washington, D.C., colleges and universities in the city are blocking efforts to allow law enforcement from acting, according to a recent report.

An Campus Reform investigation reveals that these college campuses and universities are training their officers in “progressive policing” such as prohibiting officers from carrying firearms and working with Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) officers.
