24 years later: Americans vow to never forget the 9/11 attacks and their impact

The United States will stop to remember the 9/11 terrorist attacks on Thursday, marking a dark moment in U.S. history.

The annual moments of silence and reading of names will be held on Thursday in Lower Manhattan at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
