'An uphill battle' to get the death penalty off the table for alleged Kirk assassin

The Utah County Attorney's office is going all in on the Charlie Kirk assassination investigation, as they are seeking the death penalty in the case.

As evidence piles up against the suspect, including an alleged confession in a discord chat, which was confirmed by FBI Director Kash Patel during a Senate hearing. Former U.S. Attorney John Fishwick said it was going to be an uphill battle for the suspect's legal team to get the death penalty off the table.
